In Jeremiah 29:11, God declares, "For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This powerful verse reminds us that God’s purpose for our lives is rooted in His deep love. While it was originally spoken to the Israelites in exile, the message still speaks to us today: This verse reminds us that God’s purpose for our lives is not just about our future; it's about how we live today, filled with hope and anchored in His goodness.

God’s purpose is rooted in His love for us and in the calling to live like Jesus. As followers of Christ, we are invited to reflect His love in our actions. In John 13:34, Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Our purpose isn’t just to receive God’s love—it’s to embody it by loving others the way Jesus loves us.

Living with purpose means living like Jesus. It’s in choosing to love even when it’s difficult, showing kindness to others, and pursuing a life of integrity. But it’s also about loving Jesus wholeheartedly. Matthew 22:37 reminds us of the greatest commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Our purpose flows from our relationship with Him—knowing Him, loving Him, and becoming more like Him.

When we live and love like Jesus, we step into the purpose God has designed for us. His plans are filled with hope, not just for the future, but for how we live each day, rooted in His goodness and reflecting His love.
