Do you ever find it hard to just be with God? Not running ahead of Him, anxious to see the future. Not falling behind Him, getting stuck in the past. But walking with Him, fully present in each moment. Why can it be so hard to just rest in His love? To dwell in what He died to make a way for and desires most: to be WITH us.

We can become so easily distracted that we forget He is Emmanuel—“God with us”. He is the Almighty, who is able to hold us up. He dispels every fear and worry. He ignites courage, hope, and gives us the strength to keep moving forward.

He’s never left you and He never will. If you ever start to doubt His presence is with you, remember this promise in Deuteronomy 31:8: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
